I had just recently purchased the DRZ and was invited to a 2 night camping trip in the Blue Mountains.
The plan was to head south out of Sydney down to Mittagong which was the meeting place for everyone. We had, Jordan, Jamal, Ed, Big Dog and myself along for the ride.
We headed along Wombian Caves Road and at the end of the first day we ended up camping in some state-forest just outside Oberon.
We got up the next morning and headed across to Oberon to refuel and re-supply for the next camping spot. We then adventured through the stated forests surrounding the Kanangra-Boyd National Park.
We ended up finding another camp in another state forest and the following day we just cruised around the area finding excellent single and dual tracks to ride before we eventually decided to do the 2 and a half hour ride on the tarmac home.
